Over

Philosophy

Show Where to Look. Not What to Find.

This principle, from Dr. Boolaky's supervision of the Liverpool dissertation, defines the MetriqOne research posture. The framework provides structure, logic, and evidence discipline — but deployment decisions and the interpretation of evidence remain the responsibility of the people who own them.

The framework enhances human judgement rather than replacing it. In fragile environments — where volatility is the norm and buffers are thin — measurement that removes human agency is not measurement. It is liability dressed as governance.

MetriqOne is a framework, not a formula. The stack provides structure, logic, and evidence discipline — but deployment decisions and the interpretation of evidence remain the responsibility of the people who own them. This book equips that responsibility. It does not replace it. — Book II back cover
Background

A Practitioner's Path

2000–2004

Fishery & Food Science — University Studies

Immersion in Deming, TQM, and Problem-Based Learning methodology. The evidence-first thinking that underpins MetriqOne has its origins here — in the rigorous application of measurement principles to complex, variable real-world systems.

2005–2015

Performance Measurement — Scrutiny & Implementation

A decade of independent scrutiny and hands-on implementation of performance measurement across organisations. The accumulated failures and gaps of conventional frameworks become the origin question that eventually produces MetriqOne.

2015

MSc International Management — University of Liverpool

Dissertation on performance measurement in SMEs, supervised by the late Dr. Mehraz Boolaky. The academic formalisation of a decade of practical inquiry. The foundation on which the MetriqOne framework is built.

2016–2023

Consultancy Practice — Scandinavia & Southern Europe

MetriqOne deployed and refined across client engagements. The Logic Library takes shape: Context Logic, SMART Logic, Visum Logic, Cereal Logic. The framework moves from concept to operational system.

2024–Present

Southeast Asia — Field Deployments

Six field cases in the Philippines across MSMEs, cooperatives, NGOs, and local government units. The empirical foundation for Book III: The Proof — and the evidence base for positioning evidence epistemology for fragile environments as an independent academic discipline.

2025–Present

The MetriqOne Trilogy

Book I — Proof Without Judgement — published. Book II — Foundations of Evidence-Based Leadership — published. Book III — The Proof — in active production. Three volumes establishing evidence epistemology for fragile environments as an independent academic discipline.
